You said the starboost suit was 14ish rolls then the actual weight is more a 12 rolls could it be that you added the supports that you used to the weight when you last weighted it?

I had no interest in these smaller printers but figured I'd skip around through this video out of curiosity since I just got the K1 Max. I just want to say you do a great job with your content because I ended up watching the whole thing without skipping like I usually do on review videos. For me since I don't have a 3D printer I have to make peppercura templates and sometimes I have to 3d model which luckily for me that I already knew how to do because I'm a modder and game developer

Heyy,it’s crazy how I used to watch your videos and now you even know my mom which is wild,but I wanted to thank you for making me that deadpool mask and I’ve watched your vids for two years now

My favorite pla is polymaker, overture & elegoo. They print great on either my baby x1c & my elegoo Neptune 3pro. I like Bambi’s matte filaments but they’re crazy expensive compared to elegoo , sunlu, overture& polymaker. I use to live 3Dsolutech. Personally hatchbox prints puke hot garbage in either printer & clogs immediately every time I try to use it. I also threw out a few rolls of geeetech. It wouldn’t print on any printer at all it was absolute garbage.

Random question: In a previous vid Frank showed himself painting OUT supports under the dome of a helmet because they were unnecessary. does anyone know what vid that was so I can just see about how big an area he paints out?

I really want to get another this hobby but one I am on a budget in two. I am worried about venting. I have a home office and I’m worried about Dust and fumes when printing. A enclosed 3-D printer be better and easier to vent? The only other place I can put a printer is in my garage, but it’s not heated so I would have to bring the printer in during the winter.😢 again, any help on these concerns would be great.

Hi FB, Would it be possible for you to upload your config files to your Patreon ? I am mainly looking for Neptune 3 max 0.6mm and 0.8mm settings but have a range of printers that could be beneficial. I have picked up a lot using your videos but working out where a profile has gone wrong seems to be an issue, my K1 with a 0.6 is currently out of action as I seem to have really messed that up with constant jams now, thought it was the printer at first until I moved onto my 3rd extruder and it still didn’t work 😅 As usual good video ! Thanks

I've used the generic PLA+ from microcenter and Sunlu PLA+ for Iron Man suits.

I don't use PLA for anything that I'm putting work into. I live in the Detroit area where we only get about 75 days of sun per year and I've had pieces melt and warp just waiting on spot putty or bondo to cure.

I used sunlu once but it wasn't pla. I forget what it was but it was horrible after that I went to esun and never looked back

This is what taught me painting and filing as well as giving me something to work on

Great video Frank! Very helpful. Glad to know i dont need to worry about drying filament. I would live to see a video about setting e step and flow rate. Do you even mess with that? I haven't heard you mention any of that in your intro to 3d printing.
